OOOOOKlahoma

At the end of June, (I know this post is really late) Mike and I went to Oklahoma to visit our cruise partners and really good friends, Megan and Aaron.  We had a great weekend seeing some different sites and catching up.  This is a sort review of what we did in Oklahoma.

Since Mike picked up golfing this summer, we went to a golf course near their home.

I was the only one that didn't golf.  Well, I did golf one hole just for fun, which reiterated the fact that I don't need to golf.  It took me about 19 hits to get to the green.  For my sake and Mike's sake I will continue to not golf.

For lunch one day we went to Sam & Ellas, which has amazing pizza.  Above is the "Big Sloppy" Pizza, which had double pepperoni and black olives. That is what the guys ordered.

Megan and I had the Hawaiian pizza, no wonder we are such good friends, not just everyone likes Hawaiian pizza.  It was so good.

On Saturday we went floating down the river, which covers 6 miles of river in 4 hours.
This is always something fun to do and you see so many "interesting" people.

In some places the water is only a few inches deep and in other places it is hard to touch.

Every direction you look there are lots of people in canoes, kayaks, and inflatable boats.

Thanks for hosting us Megan & Aaron! We had a great weekend.

  1. Thanks for coming! :) It's our turn to make the drive. Maybe in a few months we'll meet halfway at Fall Fest!
