We have hard or soft water, I can't remember which, but whenever I take glasses and plates out of the dishwasher they have a white film on them. Lemon Shine has completely changed that. Now nothing in the dishwasher has a film on it and they look so clean. You use lemon shine with your regular dishwasher soap, but put your regular soap in the small pre wash compartment and put Lemon Shine in the large compartment.
Most grocery store carry Lemon Shine because I was even able to find it at my local small town grocery store.
2. Mrs. Wages
I'm not sure who Mrs. Wages is (or was) but she sure makes canning a lot easier. All you need is this package, some tomatoes and a little vinegar and your salsa is ready to be canned, froze or served.
I haven't hit the point of having too much garden produce yet, so I'm still enjoying the amount of cucumbers and tomatoes I pick each week. One a side note, this was my first year to plant broccoli. Everyone warned me of the big green worms I would find, but I have only had one small green worm so far.
I love making random salads in the summer. This one was roman lettuce, a peach, pomegranate Craisins, avocado, red onion and a poppy seed dressing. Yum.
5. The Bachelorette
I have to admit that I have loved watching the Bachelorette this summer and the last episode is tonight. I really like both of the guys, but I kind of want Roberto to win. We will have to wait and see.
