New Years Day is one of the best days of the year for four reasons.
1) New Years Cookies
2) Clam Chowder
3) Naps
4) Football
The first year that Mike participated in the annual New Years Day festivities at my grandparents house, he thought it was the best day of the year because you watch football all day and only leave the recliner to getting something to eat or go to the bathroom.
I don't participate in the football watching necessarily, but it is a great day to catch up of rest, scrapbooks, or blog posts, while everyone else is napping and watching football.
